He sees our needs, our desires, our deficiencies, our wounds. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-drop-cap has-normal-font-size\">It is not by chance that once the Apostles asked Christ to teach them how to pray. As pious Jews, they must have known prayers, but obviously ware not satisfied with the present pharisaic spirit of praying and needed something more essential, something inner, and authentic. That is when our Lord told them the \u201cOur Father\u201d prayer, a very poetic, amazing prayer which is full of content and inconceivably profound. Thousands of pages have been written on this prayer. And it begins like this: <em>Our\u00a0Father\u00a0which\u00a0art\u00a0in\u00a0heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in\u00a0heaven, so on earth. Do you see it? There is no mentioning of health, neither treasure, nor success, nor a <\/em>good reputation in the society. We are only asking for God\u2019s will on Earth. We are yearning for His Kingdom. That is what our inner prayer should be about because the purpose of our lives is salvation and eternity. If we are yearning for the Kingdom of God and are willing to subordinate our will to Him, then everything else will be added to us. <span style=\"color:#602227\" class=\"tadv-color\">(see Mathew 6, 33)<\/span>. God knows and sees everything.
