{"id":121047,"date":"2020-07-05T19:50:57","date_gmt":"2020-07-05T18:50:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bigorski.org.mk\/vesti\/%category_vesti%\/sportski-nastan-vo-chest-na-golemiot-jubilej-1000-godini-bigorski-manastir\/"},"modified":"2024-02-09T14:20:35","modified_gmt":"2024-02-09T13:20:35","slug":"sports-event-in-honor-of-the-great-jubilee-1000-years-of-bigorski-monastery","status":"publish","type":"vesti","link":"https:\/\/bigorski.org.mk\/en\/reports\/events\/sports-event-in-honor-of-the-great-jubilee-1000-years-of-bigorski-monastery\/","title":{"rendered":"Sports Event in Honor of the Great Jubilee &#8220;1000 Years of Bigorski Monastery&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><span>Today, to our great joy and in anticipation of the feast &#8220;Birth of Saint John the Baptist &#8211; Ivanden&#8221;, a group of athletes, who have been practicing various sports disciplines in the beautiful Mavrovo region for many years, dedicated their sports feats to the great Jubilee \u2013 1000 years since the founding of Bigorski Monastery.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Participation was taken by sports-climbing clubs from our country (SCK Extreme \u2013 Skopje, SCK Karpo\u0161 \u2013 Skopje, SCK Vertical \u2013 Bitola, SCK Astibo \u2013 \u0160tip, SCK Carp for Everyone \u2013 Demir Kapija), members of the Sports Climbing Federation, under the leadership of the president, Mr. Vladimir Trpovski, and their challenge was to climb the attractive and world-famous routes in the Mavrovo Cave.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>On Thursday, in the afternoon hours, from the border crossing Strezimir, three experienced mountaineers and alpinists: Mario \u0160arevski, Maja Bo\u0161koska, and Vojkan Nedkovski, for the first time in the history of Macedonian mountaineering, passed a traverse along the mountain range Korab-De\u0161at-Kr\u010din following this route of movement:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u0160erupa \u2013 Ziberova Kula \u2013 Golema Korabska Vrata (camp) &#8211; under Bel Vrv and Crna \u010cuka \u2013 Kepi Bard \u2013 Kobilino Pole (camp 2)- Golem Korab \u2013 Mal Korab \u2013 Boazi \u2013 Izgrevno Lake \u2013 under Derza, Crn Kamen, \u0160upla Stena \u2013 \u0160krt\u0435c (camp 3) \u2013 Pla\u010da \u2013 High hill \u2013 Inoska \u2013 Velivar \u2013 St. Nedela \u2013 Kr\u010din. Thereby, they covered a distance of 70 km, with an ascended altitude of 4377m., in a duration of 31:48 hours, of which actively walking 22:21 hours.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>It was particularly pleasing for these brave athletes to wear the jubilee T-shirts of Bigorski Monastery during their sporting activities, as a sign of support and undisguised joy for the greatness and significance of the 1000-year anniversary of the founding of the Bigorski Monastery.
