Following this morning’s visit by the Ambassador of the Republic of Albania, the Holy Monastery of Bigorski was again honored this afternoon with a significant visit: His Excellency Mr. Michalis Rokas, Ambassador of the European Union to our country, arrived in its blessed courtyards.
In the spirit of monastic hospitality, he was warmly received by the Elder of the Monastery, His Grace, Bishop of Antania, Mr. Parthenius. In a friendly conversation, the Elder introduced his distinguished guest to the spiritual, cultural, and social mission of the Monastery, sharing also thoughts on the contemporary challenges facing modern man and on the mission of the Church in today’s world.
The warm and sincere meeting took place in an atmosphere of mutual understanding, respect, and goodwill, with hope that the light of spiritual tradition will continue to serve as a bridge between peoples and cultures.
