First Blood Donation Drive at Bigorski Monastery

With gratitude and love toward the Life-Giving God, we joyfully announce that today’s blood donation drive at our sacred monastery, held under the motto “Give a Drop of Life,” was a successful and blessed testimony of compassion and solidarity.

This noble act, carried out with the blessing of our beloved Elder, His Grace Bishop Partenij of Antania, and organized in cooperation with the Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia – Municipal Branch of Gostivar, as well as the Institute for Transfusion Medicine in Skopje, attracted a truly remarkable number of donors. In a relatively short period, over thirty precious units of blood were collected—thirty drops of hope, thirty chances to save human lives.

Among the donors were members of our monastic brotherhood, local residents from surrounding areas, as well as pilgrims and visitors to the monastery. Their offering was quiet and humble, yet of immeasurable significance—a living witness to what our Elder often says: that true faith always manifests as love, and love—as action.

We sincerely thank the organizers and all the generous people who opened their hearts and hands in this effort.

May the gracious Lord reward them with abundant spiritual blessings, health, and peace, and may His grace multiply every work of love and kindness.

Bigorski Monastery remains a home where mercy becomes joy, and joy—a shared blessing.
