Visit from the U.S. Embassy to the Bigorski Monastery

Today, at the Sacred Bigorski Monastery, an important meeting took place with representatives from the Embassy of the United States of America in Skopje. The esteemed guests, Mr. Matthew Flannes, Political Counselor, and Mr. Mitko Burchevski, Political Analyst at the Embassy, were received by our Elder, His Grace, Bishop Parthenius of Antania.

The discussion covered various current topics related to the life of the Monastery, with a special focus on its long-standing efforts in the field of spiritual and social missions. Particular attention was given to the rehabilitation and reintegration program for individuals struggling with drug addiction, which has yielded significant results over the years and has helped many on their path to complete personal renewal and becoming valuable members of society.

Mr. Matthew Flannes expressed his great appreciation for this noble mission of the Monastery and emphasized the importance of such dedicated efforts for the benefit of the entire society. The meeting was marked by open and constructive dialogue, highlighting the significance of collaboration and support for socially beneficial initiatives.
