Within the framework of the monastic social-educational mission in the Mijak region, with the blessing of our Elder, Bishop of Antania Mr. Partenij, abbot of the Bigorski Monastery, recently in the beautiful environment of the fully renovated dining room at the church of the Most Holy Mother of God in the village of Rostuše, multicultural and multireligious educational meetings began, aimed at strengthening coexistence in this diverse region.
This time, to our great joy, part of the youngest in the area were present, regardless of their ethnic or religious affiliation. It was truly a great pleasure to be part of this inspiring educational gathering, where through an interactive method, the children expressed wonderful thoughts and conclusions on the given topic, thereby expressing the joy of their already established coexistence, as well as the sincerest desire for even more quality communion and constructive development in their mutual relations. The enthusiasm that was present among their parents, who, in turn, expressed sincere gratitude towards this initiative by Bishop Partenij and his efforts and vision for further progress of the people from the region, could not be hidden.
We hope that this good practice will bear great fruit and contribute to cooperation with other individuals and institutions, as well as with an even greater presence of interested parties of all ages.
