Today, His Excellency, the Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria to Macedonia, Mr. Angel Angelov, together with the Cultural Attaché, Mr. Petar Petrov, visited the Sacred Bigorski Monastery of the Honorable Forerunner, where they had the opportunity to closely acquaint themselves with our millennial Holy Shrine.
In the spirit of monastic hospitality, the ambassador and the attaché were warmly received by our Elder and Abbot, His Grace Bishop Parthenius, who introduced the guests to the evangelical mission of our brotherhood.
During the meeting, discussions were also held regarding the current state of relations between the two countries, with all parties emphasizing the necessity of greater brotherly love, mutual respect, and trust among the Orthodox fraternal nations, in accordance with the Christian doctrine of love.
Mr. Angelov, on his part, congratulated the Elder on his episcopal ordination and expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome, wishing him continued success in his pastoral ministry.
