Easter Friday

On Easter Friday the Holy Church celebrates the Most Holy Mother in honour of her Life-Giving Fount – Balikli, in the royal city of Constantinople, the capital of the Byzantine Empire and centre of Orthodoxy, Mother of all Churches. Remembering the Mother of God’s immense mercy and amazing love for humankind, our monastic family and the present faithful went on festive Litany to the monastery Aghiazma dedicated to the Life-Giving Fount where Fr. Parthenius performed the  Paschal blessing of the water.
