Monastic tonsure in Rajchica, on the eve of St. George’s day

A graceful outburst of joy marked the eve of the Holy Great Martyr, St. George the Triumphant. This joy and tremor affected an especial angelical soul because that was the night of her Divine wedding to the sweetest and eternal Heavenly Bridegroom – Lord Jesus Christ. Spiritually born and raised in the monastic fit by our Elder and now presented before the Holy Altar under his fatherly protection, our newly tonsured nun Seraphima accepted from the hands of Metropolitan Mr Timothy the monastic schema and clad herself in the holy clothes of voluntary poverty, purity, and obedience.
